Our community support workers need to provide education, training and support clients in independent living skills, community access, transport, personal care and behaviour support in a group home environment. We have a fulltime position available in our Accommodation Services in the Liverpool area.
Essential: Relevant qualifications in disabilities, social services or equivalent; First Aid Certificate; Experience working with people with a disability and challenging behaviours; understanding of the Disability Services Act and Standards; ability to work independently and within a team; good written and verbal communication skills; current driver’s licence; access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle; to be available to work day, evening, night, sleepovers and weekend shifts; to work with the Mission of CatholicCare.
Location: south west and southern Sydney
Salary: SACS Award Grade 3
