We are seeking a Manager for our Retreat and Conference centre located in Shoalwater, approximately 50 kilometres south of Perth.
The Centre, set in tranquil grounds close to the ocean, serves as a hospitable space for many different groups of people seeking conference facilities, retreat, rest or formation.
The Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre, which will include the supervison of staff. This is a very hands on administrative role and you will need to have good computer skills as well as experience in the areas of financial control and marketing.
It is vital that you are able to lead by example and have a preparedness to respond to clients’ needs to ensure excellent delivery of service. You will need to be able to strike a balance between client satisfaction and effective management, which often means dealing with last-minute changes or solving problems as they arise.
Experience in a non profit organisation is preferred but not essential, although you must have a strong commitment to the Mission and Values of the Catholic Church.
The position is full time and will require you to have the flexibility to work outside normal business hours at times.
A salary package of circa $85,000 plus superannuation is expected to attract the high calibre person we seek.
