 MAGiS: the Ignatian Youth Ministry is looking for a World Youth Day /Admin Coordinator to work for a fixed term, part time contract in their offices currently located at Lavender Bay.
MAGiS is committed to accompanying young adults who desire community, who seek spiritual depth and who want to live a faith that does justice. One work of this ministry is World Youth Day Spain 2011.
The main role of the WYD/Admin Coordinator is to assist the National Coordinator with the vision, promotion and implementation of the MAGiS WYD Pilgrimage to Spain in August 2011 and general office duties at the MAGiS National Office.
For this hands on role you will need to be organised with great time management skills, have good verbal and written communication skills with a desire to get the job done. You will need an eye for details together with proficient computer skills and general office admin experience. You will especially have an interest in working amongst young adults and have a welcoming, generous personality.
