 The Diocese is seeking to appoint a Diocesan Liturgy Coordinator who will be part of the Parish Support Unit based at the Diocesan Offices, Caroline Chisholm Centre, Pennant Hills, NSW.
The Liturgy Coordinator will report to the Director of the Parish Support Unit and work closely with the Diocesan Liturgical Commission.
The Diocesan Liturgy Coordinator will promote the development of liturgical vision in the Diocese, within the context of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan, through collaboration with Parishes in the organisation of local and Diocesan Celebrations. This will require the planning and delivery of effective support and training in liturgical development; ensuring the local and Diocesan celebrations are appropriate, inclusive and encourage good practice; sustaining and creating appropriate networks throughout the Diocese; and, developing resources to support Parishes and the work of the Parish Support Unit.
The initial appointment will be a three-year fixed term contract.
