About the Role

The Director of Teaching and Learning is a member of the College Leadership Team. The focus of this position is on the ongoing performance and development of all teachers and middle leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities to improve learning outcomes for all students. It requires close collaboration with the Director of Studies and shared leadership of the Leaders of Learning and Academic Care Leaders, in their role as leaders of pedagogy in their particular subject area(s) and Stages, and the ongoing performance and development of their teachers.

About You

The Director of Teaching and Learning will be an exceptional educator with a demonstrated passion for learning and teaching, adept at reflective practice and possessing a strong drive for continuous improvement. They will have a breadth of significant educational leadership experience as well as appropriate qualifications, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working collaboratively.

Teachers at the College are employed under the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Teachers-Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2020.
