The foundation of Shizuoka Salesian education is the teaching of Christ. That teaching is “love”. It is based on fostering and nurturing a heart of love for oneself and others.
Our founder, St. Don Bosco, made “being together” (assistenza in Italian) the basis of his education to convey love. This is because by sharing both place and time, both the children and the teachers themselves can feel that they are truly important.
