Catholic Jobs Online is a website (Website) operated by the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney (CAS) to provide an online portal for employers, employment agencies and job seekers.
CAS is collecting your personal information including your name, contact details (such as phone number, address and email address) for the purpose of providing employment services to:
- employers and employment agencies, including relaying job applications submitted through the Website, and publishing (in print and/or online) job vacancies and advertisements; and
- job seekers, including a job application and search function through the Website.
CAS generally collects personal information directly from you via the Website, or from content submitted by you (e.g. a cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae), or when you otherwise contact and correspond with us (e.g. over the phone, via email or in person).
If you do not provide us with the personal information we have requested, we may not be able to provide you with services or information.
CAS may disclose your personal information to our related entities, contractors providing services to us and to other third-party service providers (such as mailing houses) we use in conducting our business.
CAS may also disclose your personal information where we are required or authorised by Australian law to do so, including the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cth).
CAS reserves the right in its sole discretion to publish on other sites or in other media, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, advertisements and other information it receives from advertisers.
